Starting in Dunsop Bridge and taking you on a scenic tour of the Forest of Bowland National Landscape, the UTL 38 will provide ample challenge for any runner seeking to push themselves in a remote and unforgiving landscape.
Throughout this 38 mile ultra race, you will explore classic Bowland working landscape, remote fells and countryside hamlets, and complete a full circumnavigation of Lancashire’s biggest lake, Stocks Reservoir, featuring impressive views of Lancashire’s biggest woodland, Gisburn Forest.

The HQ for the UTL, our basecamp will be a lively hub for runners and supporters alike, alongside our basecamp refreshments and event partners.
