By this point, we imagine you have an interest for pushing yourself outdoors (or maybe you’re just a glutton for punishment), and what better way to do this than to run over 50KM or 100 miles through some exceptional Lancashire terrain?
This is the race weekend that will have you appreciating all that the outdoors in Lancashire has to offer. -
Free camping at the UTL basecamp including a 2.5m tent and car / small VW-type camper. Fully stocked checkpoints throughout, emergency cover for the whole event, bespoke medal and finishers hoodie.
Most of the route will be signed and waymarked to ease navigation (though you are still expected to be comfortable navigating the route on your own). -
We are the ONLY 100 mile race event to take place in this specific area of Lancashire and on this scale, combining the underrated and stunning Forest of Bowland with the beautifully historic Lancaster and nearby countryside.
We also make sure we have an atmosphere second to none so you have nothing but a memorable time at Ultra Tour Lancashire. -

Nope! We believe in photos being included so you can take away your UTL memories without worrying about any extra charge for photos.

You MUST be aged 21 or over by the event date to participate in the UTL.

All entrants to the event will have access to camping facilities, and so belongings can be left on site at basecamp and in vehicles. The basecamp will be locked down once events are underway so nobody can leave or access the site.

There will be two drop bag locations throughout the UTL 100. One located at Caton Village Hall (42miles), and another at Dunsop Village Hall (63miles). All bags will be returned to basecamp once the checkpoints have closed.

There will be a number of amenities at the basecamp to help you have the best weekend in Bowland.
These will include, pizza, coffee and a bar, event partners, and rehab and yoga practices courtesy of nearby Bowland Fitness.
